Karachi Kings team director Haider Azhar praised his side’s hard work, unity, and fighting spirit after a special win against Lahore Qalandars in the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 fixture.
Azhar reflected on moments from the game during the post-match ceremony.
“One of the positives from the match was the players’ body language and attitude. I did not believe for one second that the outcome would be anything else,” he observed.
Fast bowler Mohammad Hamza was singled out for his impressive powerplay spell, while debutant Rizwanullah was congratulated on claiming his first wicket.
“First of all, Mohammad Hamza, your power play over, and both opening overs were brilliant. Rizwanullah, many congratulations on your first wicket,” he continued.
The team director praised Hasan Ali for his on-field leadership, while David Warner and Zahid Mehmood were also highlighted for their contributions. Warner anchored the innings with a composed batting display.

He hailed Moeen Ali for his all-round performance and Azam Khan for his useful contribution.

Haider Azhar expressed confidence that Karachi Kings will carry this momentum forward while acknowledging that other results are now outside their control.
