KARACHI – April 15, 2026: Karachi Kings today confirmed that opening batter Muhammad Waseem and fast bowler Khuzaima bin Tanveer have been released from the squad for the remainder of the HBL PSL 11.
The duo has been called up to fulfill their National Duty commitments.
Muhammad Wasim has represented Karachi Kings in five matches and scored 86 runs.
Jason Roy has replaced Muhammad Wasim in the squad, while the fast bowler Khuzaima bin Tanveer’s replacement will be announced in due course.
Known for his fearless striking and vast experience in the T20 circuit, Roy is no stranger to the HBL PSL, where he has consistently been one of the most destructive overseas batters. His arrival is set to bolster the Kings’ top order as the tournament enters its most critical phase.
Karachi Kings will play their next match on 16 April against Islamabad United at the National Bank Stadium, Karachi.
