LAHORE: Karachi Kings picked local all-rounder Khushdil Shah in their only pick in the Diamond category of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 Player Draft.
The dynamic all-rounder has established himself as a pivotal figure in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Since his debut in 2017, he has donned the jerseys of Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans, showcasing his versatility with both bat and ball.
Over the course of 48 innings, he has amassed an impressive total of 693 runs, boasting a remarkable strike rate of 140.85. Alongside his batting prowess, he has also made his mark as a bowler, claiming 24 wickets at an outstanding average of 20.12.
Moreover, has represented the national team in 37 international white-ball matches since stepping onto the international stage in 2019.
It’s worth noting that Khushdil Shah is the third player in the Diamond category for Karachi Kings, joining a talented roster that includes the skillful pace bowler Hasan Ali and the accomplished English batter James Vince, both of whom were retained ahead of the draft.
The 29-year-old all-rounder has been a mainstay of the PSL, having played for Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans, since 2017. He has scored 693 runs in 48 innings at a strike-rate of 140.85, and taken 24 wickets at an average of 20.12.
