Reflecting on his match-winning knock during the post-match presentation, Irfan Khan acknowledged Lahore Qalandars’ strong bowling attack and noted that he had backed himself with self-belief.
“It was all about belief. Saad (Baig) was playing really well, which allowed me to take my time and settle in. Lahore has a strong bowling attack, but I backed myself,” he said.

With 48 required off 18 balls, Irfan Khan played a crucial knock under pressure, showcasing his batting prowess. Scoring an unbeaten 48 off 21 balls, he called the innings one of his best so far, emphasizing that he had been eager to deliver for some time.
“This is one of the best innings of my career. I’ve always believed I’m capable of playing at this level, but I hadn’t been able to deliver for a while, which had me feeling a bit down.
“Thankfully, the coaches kept motivating me, and that support made a big difference, ” Irfan Khan concluded.
