Karachi Kings, the winners of HBL PSL 5, proudly announce Muhammad Masroor, the decorated coach, as the assistant coach for the upcoming HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 9.
With an illustrious career and an exceptional coaching record, Muhammad Masroor, renowned for steering the Emerging Teams’ Asia Cup to victory, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the Karachi Kings’ coaching roster. Masroor, considered one of Pakistan’s most accomplished coaches, boasts an impressive tally of 16 titles in the country’s domestic and age group cricket circuit, exemplifying his unparalleled coaching acumen.
Masroor’s association with Karachi Kings spans eight years, marking his steadfast commitment and invaluable contributions to the franchise. Having been a pivotal part of the coaching setup since HBL PSL Season 2 in 2017, his recent role as the fielding coach showcased his dedication to enhancing the team’s performance.
Currently, Masroor also plays a vital role in nurturing the future stars of Pakistan as part of the coaching staff for the World Cup-bound U19 squad. His diverse coaching roles, from Pakistan Shaheen to the Pakistan U19 and U16 teams, underscore his proficiency in honing talent at various levels of the game.
As the assistant coach, Muhammad Masroor will closely collaborate with Head Coach Phil Simmons, Team Director Haider Azhar, and the entire coaching and support staff to prepare Karachi Kings for a successful campaign in the upcoming HBL PSL season.
