Former champions Karachi Kings will kick off their HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 9 campaign on February 18 in an away clash with last edition’s runners-up Multan Sultans at the picturesque Multan International Cricket Stadium.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday, announced the much-anticipated schedule for the HBL PSL 9. The marquee league will run from February 18 to March 17.
The 34-match T20 tournament will be played in four cities – Karachi, Lahore, Multan and Rawalpindi – with the final of the six-team tournament taking place at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi on 18 March.

Two-time winners and defending champions Lahore Qalandars will take on two-time title winners Islamabad United in the curtain raiser at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
The 2020 champions will kick start their search for the second PSL title a day later when they take on 2021 champions Multan Sultans at their home ground.
The Kings will then travel to Lahore where they will take on Peshawar Zalmi and arch-rivals Lahore Qalandars on February 21 and 24 respectively.
Karachi Kings will play their first home match of PSL 9 against inaugural champions Islamabad United on February 28 before turning their attention towards 2019 champions Quetta Gladiators on the very next day (February 29).
Just like the previous editions of PSL, this edition will also take place in two legs.

In the replica of their campaign opener, the Kings will take Sultans this time at their home ground on March 3.
They will then travel to Rawalpindi where they will take on Quetta Gladiators and home side Islamabad United on March 6 and 7 respectively.
The Kings will then finally return to their home city, which is slated to host the most number of PSL 9 matches (11) including the Playoffs and the Final, and will play their remaining round matches when they take on arch-rivals Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi on March 9 and 11 at the National Bank Cricket Stadium.
