T20 World Cup Winner Ravi Bopara Continues With Karachi Kings as the Assistant Coach for HBL PSL 9

KARACHI: Karachi Kings, winners of HBL PSL 5, proudly announce that Ravi Bopara, the T20 World Cup 2010 winner and Player of the Tournament in HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 1, to continue with the franchise as the assistant coach for the upcoming HBL PSL Season 9.

A celebrated figure in the cricketing world, Ravi Bopara brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role. After previously gracing the field as a player for Karachi Kings during the inaugural three seasons, Bopara’s exceptional cricketing prowess was evident as he captained the Kings’ squad during the playoffs of HBL PSL Season 1.

Renowned for his exceptional all-round abilities, Ravi Bopara clinched the title of the best all-rounder in the inception season of the league while representing Karachi Kings. Last season, Bopara made a return to the Karachi Kings camp, this time as the batting coach, showcasing his commitment to contribute to the team’s success.

With a staggering record of 9,101 runs and 273 wickets in the T20 format, Bopara’s global experience and multifaceted skills render him an invaluable addition to the coaching staff.

In his role as the assistant coach, Ravi Bopara will collaborate closely with Head Coach Phil Simmons, Team Director Haider Azhar, and the entire coaching and support staff to prepare Karachi Kings for a triumphant campaign in the upcoming HBL PSL season.
