HBL PSL 9 Supplementary and Replacement Players for Karachi Kings announced

KARACHI: As the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) gears up for its ninth edition, Karachi Kings have finalized their lineup with strategic supplementary and replacement draft picks.

In the Replacement Draft held on Monday, conducted via conference call, the Kings showcased their acumen in team-building, securing talents to enhance their campaign in the upcoming season.

Among the key acquisitions, Zahid Mehmood emerges as a partial replacement for the seasoned campaigner Kieron Pollard.

Additionally, the Kings have reserved their pick for Tim Seifert, a move poised to enhance their firepower post the conclusion of the New Zealand T20Is.

In the supplementary round, Karachi Kings displayed astute judgment by securing the talents of South African middle-order batter Leus De Plooy.

Notably, the Kings concluded their supplementary picks with the inclusion of the promising 21-year-old Mohammad Rohid, a testament to their investment in nurturing young talent alongside seasoned campaigners.

With these additions, Karachi Kings are poised to commence their HBL PSL 9 campaign with renewed vigour and determination.

Their journey kicks off on February 18, with an electrifying clash against the last edition’s runners-up, Multan Sultans, set to unfold at the iconic Multan International Cricket Stadium.
