LAHORE: Karachi Kings is delighted to announce that our emerging talent, Muhammad Irfan Khan, has been selected for the Pakistan men’s cricket team for the upcoming T20I series against New Zealand. Irfan’s exceptional performance in the HBL Pakistan Super League earned him recognition as the Emerging Player and Best Fielder of the tournament, securing his spot in the national squad.
Speaking on his selection, Irfan expressed his gratitude, stating, “Breaking into such a formidable team like Pakistan is a testament to the dedication and effort I have put into my game.
“Now, my focus is on seizing this opportunity and solidifying my position within the team.
“I am fully committed to continuing to work diligently and proving myself worthy of the trust placed in me by the captain and selectors.”
The selection committee, represented by batting coach Mohammad Yousuf, extended heartfelt congratulations to Irfan Khan, acknowledging his consistent performances and potential to become a key impact player for Pakistan.
In addition to Irfan, wrist spinner Abrar Ahmed, all-rounder Imad Wasim, and fast bowler Mohammad Amir have also been named in the 17-player squad for the New Zealand T20Is.
