Lahore, 11 February 2026: Karachi Kings continued to strengthen their squad at the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Player Auction, making a series of strategic additions to reinforce their pace attack and enhance overall squad depth ahead of the new season.
The franchise secured fast-bowling all-rounder Shahid Aziz for PKR 92.5 lakh, adding valuable balance to the side with his all-round abilities.
The 22-year-old previously represented Multan Sultans in HBL PSL 10, featuring in three matches and claiming five wickets at an impressive average of 15.60. Overall, Shahid has played 29 T20 matches, taking 37 wickets at an average of 22.45.
Continuing their focus on strengthening the bowling department, Karachi Kings also signed promising left-arm fast bowler Hamza Sohail for PKR 6 million.
The 25-year-old boasts an outstanding First-Class record, having taken 76 wickets in just 16 matches at an exceptional average of 16.48, including two 10-wicket hauls and six five-wicket hauls.
In one of the more competitive bidding contests of the auction, Karachi Kings successfully acquired UAE fast bowler Khuzaima bin Tanveer for PKR 90 lakh, highlighting the franchise’s intent to add international firepower to their lineup.
Khuzaima has impressed in UAE-based T10 and ILT20 tournaments with his pace and skill. The right-arm pacer has played 19 T20 matches, claiming 26 wickets at an average of 19.42.
With these additions, Karachi Kings continue to build a well-rounded and competitive squad for the upcoming HBL PSL 11 season.
