All rounder Imad Wasim named as new captain of Karachi Kings for PSL Season-3.
Former Pakistani Captain Shahid Afridi called Imad Wasim a mature cricketer and stated that he will be the right choice to lead the time.
Imad Wasim has previously captained Pakistan U-19 as well.
Karachi Kings were earlier captained by Shoaib Malik and Ravi Bopara during the first edition of the league. While Kumar Sangakkara led the side in the second season.
“Shahid Bhai always supported me, even if I’m not performing, his guidance was always with me,” Imad Wasim said
“Shahid bhai’s presence on the ground will be a great support, throughout the tournament” he added
Moreover, the run machine Babar Azam and the destroyer Mohammad Amir will be playing for Karachi Kings.
The star cricketer Shahid Afridi, is not only the President of the franchise but he will also be playing for Karachi Kings in third PSL. He was earlier playing with Peshawar Zalmi.
